God Revealed Christ Who Revealed the Future of Humanity

The book of revelation is about Jesus Christ and Him alone and what He plans to do with the rest of humanity who have refused to believe in Him as the Redeemer sent by the Father to save them from the wrath to come. The whole content of the book deals with things that are, things that are happening and things that will be hereafter. Jesus Christ is the One conducting the affairs of the world both of the dead, human and the spirit as far as heaven and earth are concerned.

If you do not have Christ now or then you will regret your decision and it will be too late for you in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada and consequently the whole world. If you reject Him and turn your back on Him who is the Commander of the Army of God, you will wish that you never lived and you were not born to this life. It is not a figment of the imagination or some stories of popcorn and peanut that will tickle the ears of those who heard them. There is nothing as truthful, sincere, valid and of integrity and character coming right from the heart of God.

The whole concept of the creation of man hinges on the divine desires to guide, guard and live through man His life so that man will enjoy God and live with Him forever. But evil crept in and marred the image of God, but not totally destroying him. God sent His Son, Jesus Christ to bring man back to Him with a high price through His dying on the cross of Calvary. He paid for man’s rebellion and sin with His own life and blood and set mankind free forever if they will obey and receive Him.

Chapters 1-3 deal with the revelation of Jesus Christ and who is today in Heaven and on the earth He has created. In antiquity, there was no Jesus Christ, but the Word that has been with father from the beginning. He became Jesus Christ when the angel announced His birth and gave Him the name Jesus which means deliverer from sin. At that point He became the Saviour, Deliverer, Redeemer and Lord of those who will forever trust in Him. The revealed Christ is more than John could stomach even though he was in the spirit and he fell down as if he were dead and there was no life in him. You will have to read it for yourself to catch the awe and magnificence of the glorified Christ. (Rev.1:12-18)

In this revelation, He showed the world what a truth and abiding Church looked like in the seven mirrors of the seven Churches lifted up for the Churches of the world to see themselves in those seven Churches. If you look at these Churches, you cannot but see yourself in one of them and that calls for a change of heart, repentance and greater impetus to do better and please Him who is the Lord of the Church. In these Seven Churches, there were some commendations as well as indictments given by the Lord. He wants us to repent and change our ways to fit His and we will abide in Him. Failure to change and do better will mean the nullification of that church and consequently you who heard the message of the book. You will be removed from His presence just as He said to those in Matt.7:23, “I never knew you. Depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.” Lawlessness is doing what the Lord has not commanded you to do even if by human estimation is a good thing. But not what the Lord ordered and that is what makes it lawlessness

The first Mirror Church is in Rev.2:1-7 and it is called “The Loveless Church.” The second is found in Rev.2:8-11 and it is called “The Persecuted Church.” The third is found in Rev.2:12-17 and it is called “The Compromising Church.” The fourth one is found in Rev.2:18-29 and it is called “The Corrupt Church.” The fifth one is found in Rev.3:1-6 and it is called “The Dead Church.” The sixth one in found in Rev.3:7-13 and it is called “The Faithful Church.” The seven one is found in Rev.3:14-22 and it is called “The Lukewarm Church.” These are the seven Mirrors Churches that reflect our attitude, life, behaviour, devotion, tenacity, love, compromise, integrity, faithfulness, courage, honesty and all the virtues of the Lord in our lives and in what we do for Him.

Revelation 4 and 5 revealed heaven and the angelic praises and all of the departed saints worshipping and glorifying the Lord Jesus and the Father. Chapters 6 and 7 revealed the seals of a book and upon the 144,000 Jews and beyond that a multitude which no man could number of all nations, tribes, peoples and tongues standing before the throne and before The Lamb clothed in white robes with palm branches in their hands, crying out with a loud voice and saying: Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne and to the Lamb.” (Rev.7:9-10)

The 7 Seals that covered the book in the hands of Him who sits on the throne in Rev.6, the 7 Trumpets of Rev.8 and 9 and the 7 Bowls of Rev.15 and 16 are Christ’s fury on the nations and the rest of mankind who did not believe that He was sent of the Father to rescue us from the wrath to come. In fact, the whole book is the judgment of the world for turning its back against the One who was sent to redeem them. Sandwiched in between these judgments are the beasts from the sea, land, the false prophets, the dragon, the antichrist, the 10 kings, Babylon the Great, the Fall of it, Satan bound for a thousand years, the rebellion of Satan, the white throne judgment, the New Jerusalem, the River of life, 10 horns and a host of other imageries and things.

The judgments of God upon the world and those who rejected Christ occupied the main thesis of this book and as these judgments are measured out by the Lord of revelation, even Jesus Christ, the world did not repent of the wickedness, evil, fornications, adulteries, degenerations, degradations, abominations, lies, corruptions, witchcraft, sodomy, lesbianism, drunkenness, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hated, contentions, jealousy, outburst of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissentions, heresies, envy, murders, revelries and things that violated the word, will and the holiness of God.
